Central Vietnam Highlights Tour: Da Nang – Hue – Ba Na Hills – Hoi An – Coconut Jungle

Day 1: Arrival in Da Nang – Linh Ung Pagoda – Transfer to Hue (L, D)

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon your arrival at Da Nang International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative of Veluxtour. Enjoy a refreshing welcome lunch at a local restaurant before we begin your Central Vietnam journey.

Our first visit takes you along the scenic coastal route of Hoang Sa–Truong Sa to Son Tra Peninsula, home to the Linh Ung Pagoda. Marvel at the 67-meter high Lady Buddha statue, the tallest of its kind in Vietnam, overlooking the East Sea. The pagoda, blending modern and traditional architecture, offers breathtaking views and spiritual serenity.

Following this, we travel north via the stunning Hai Van Pass, a winding coastal road known for its panoramic views, lush mountain ranges, and photo-worthy moments.

Upon arrival in Hue, check in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a Royal Dinner featuring Hue’s imperial cuisine accompanied by traditional court music and folk performances—a unique cultural experience only found in the former imperial capital.

Day 2: Hue City Tour – Return to Da Nang (B, L, D)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a journey through Hue’s rich imperial heritage. Begin with a peaceful boat ride on the Perfume River, leading to the historic Thien Mu Pagoda—an icon of Hue’s spiritual life nestled among pine trees and lush gardens.

Next, explore the Hue Imperial Citadel, the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty, including famous sites such as the Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Nine Dynastic Urns.

Enjoy lunch at a charming local restaurant before heading to the Khai Dinh Mausoleum, known for its striking fusion of Eastern and Western architectural styles, intricate mosaics, and grand design.

Later in the afternoon, transfer back to Da Nang. Check in to your hotel and relax before dinner.

Day 3: Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge – Han River Cruise (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for Ba Na Hills, one of Vietnam’s most iconic destinations. Travel via one of Southeast Asia’s most modern cable car systems, ascending through misty clouds and lush forests.

Your adventure includes:

• Visiting the famous Golden Bridge, supported by giant stone hands.

• Exploring the Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the romantic French Village.

• Enjoying buffet lunch with panoramic mountain views.

• Entertaining at Fantasy Park, home to over 90 games, 4D rides, and attractions for all ages.

Return to Da Nang in the afternoon for a visit to Han Market, a vibrant hub of local culture and souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the Han River, where Da Nang’s illuminated bridges and skyline come to life.

Day 4: Marble Mountains – Coconut Jungle – Hoi An Ancient Town (B, L, D)

After breakfast, head south to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of marble and limestone hills dotted with caves, pagodas, and spectacular views. Visit ancient Buddhist sanctuaries and enjoy panoramic city and ocean vistas.

Next, continue to Bay Mau Coconut Forest in Cam Thanh Village, an eco-tourism area known for its water coconut groves. Experience a fun-filled basket boat ride, including boat dancing performances, crab fishing, and hands-on interaction with local traditions.

After lunch, check in to your hotel in Hoi An. In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour through the enchanting streets of the Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting highlights like the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient House, and traditional craft stores.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and spend your evening exploring Hoi An’s lantern-lit alleys at your leisure.

Day 5: Hoi An – Departure from Da Nang (B)

Enjoy a relaxing morning in Hoi An with free time to shop, take photos, or savor a coffee in one of the heritage town’s charming cafes.

At the appointed time, our driver and guide will transfer you to Da Nang International Airport for your departure flight.
